Alex Anthopoulos is a Canadian professional baseball executive with a successful track record in Major League Baseball. He began his career as a scouting coordinator for the Toronto Blue Jays in 2003 and later held positions as their general manager and senior VP of baseball operations. Anthopoulos was recognized as the Sporting News Executive of the Year in 2015 for guiding the Blue Jays to the playoffs. He then moved on to become the vice president of baseball operations for the Los Angeles Dodgers before transitioning to his current role with the Atlanta Braves.
