Steve Davis OBE, a retired professional snooker player from England, had a successful career in the sport during the 1980s. He won six world titles and held the world number one ranking for seven seasons. Davis also secured a total of 15 Triple Crown titles, which included six UK Championships and three Masters titles. With 84 individual wins, he holds the record for the most professional titles overall. In 1988, he was named BBC Sports Personality of the Year. Davis remains involved in snooker as a commentator and analyst.
