Toralf Engan, a successful Norwegian ski jumper, achieved many victories during his career. Notably, he won the large hill at the 1964 Winter Olympics and placed second in the normal hill event. Engan also secured victories in the Four Hills Tournament and the individual normal hill event at the 1962 FIS Nordic World Ski Championships. After retiring in 1966, he worked as a national ski jumping coach before settling in Trondheim.
