Frank Rommel, a retired German skeleton racer, started his international career in 2002. Over the years, he accomplished significant success, earning a gold medal in the mixed team event at the FIBT World Championships in 2009 and a bronze in the men’s skeleton event in 2008. Rommel also participated in the 2006 Winter Olympics, finishing 24th, and the 2010 Winter Olympics, where he secured seventh place. Following his 11th place finish at the 2014 Winter Olympics, Rommel decided to retire from the sport.
