Duff Gibson is a former Canadian skeleton racer known for his impressive career achievements. He won a gold medal at the 2006 Winter Olympics in Turin and finished tenth at the 2002 Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City. Gibson also secured gold and bronze medals in the men’s skeleton event at the FIBT World Championships in 2004 and 2005, respectively. His highest overall seasonal Skeleton World Cup finish was second in the men’s event in 2003–4. Upon retiring after the 2006 Games, Gibson continued to be active in charitable work, collaborating with the Stephen Lewis Foundation to support families affected by HIV/AIDS in Africa.
