Nadezhda Chizhova is a retired Russian shot putter who achieved remarkable success in her career. She won three Olympic medals and four European titles, setting seven new world records along the way. Following her retirement after the 1976 Olympics, she transitioned into coaching and worked as an athletics coach in Saint Petersburg, sharing her expertise and passion for the sport with the next generation of athletes.
