Petter Solberg, a former professional rally and rallycross driver from Norway, began his World Rally Championship career with Ford in 1998. He later joined the Subaru World Rally Team, finishing as a runner-up in 2002 and clinching the drivers’ world title in 2003. After Subaru’s exit, Solberg formed the Petter Solberg World Rally Team with private support. He returned to the Ford World Rally Team in 2012 and later switched to rallycross in 2013. Solberg achieved the FIA World Rallycross Champion title in both 2014 and 2015 before retiring in 2018.
