Some of his popular compositions include “Chal Chal Re Naujawan” and “Aao Bachcho Tumhein Dikhayen.” His impactful contributions led to him being honored with the title of Rashtrakavi (National Poet) and the prestigious Dada Saheb Phalke Award in 1997.
