John Eastburn Boswell, an American historian and full professor at Yale University, conducted research on the relationship between religion and homosexuality, particularly within Christianity and the LGBTQ+ community. His work focused on exploring the history of marginalized groups in society. Boswell wrote various books, such as “The Royal Treasure: Muslim Communities Under the Crown of Aragon in the Fourteenth Century” (1977) and “Same-Sex Unions in Pre-Modern Europe” (1994). Tragically, he passed away in 1994 due to complications associated with AIDS.
