Joan Mir Mayrata, a Spanish motorcycle racer, currently competes for the Repsol Honda Team in the MotoGP World Championship. He made a name for himself by winning the 2020 MotoGP World Championship with Suzuki, making him the fourth Spanish rider and the second Mallorcan to achieve this honor. Mir has also claimed the 2017 Moto3 World Championship title. Notable among his achievements are being the first Suzuki rider to win since 2000, the first non-Honda or non-Yamaha rider to win since 2007, and the first Moto3 champion to secure the premier class title.
