Constantina Diță is a highly accomplished Romanian long-distance runner known for her expertise in the half marathon and marathon events. She achieved significant success throughout her career, including winning the marathon gold medal at the 2008 Beijing Olympics and a bronze medal at the 2005 World Championships in Athletics. Diță also participated in the Olympics in 2000 and 2004. With an impressive marathon best of 2:21:30 hours, she was the champion at the 2005 IAAF World Half Marathon Championships and the 2004 Chicago Marathon winner.
