Boris Obergföll, also known as Henry, is a retired German track and field athlete celebrated for his exceptional skills in javelin throwing. Throughout his career, he earned significant recognition for his achievements in the sport. Winning bronze medals at the World Championships in 1995 and 2003, Obergföll showcased his talent on a global stage. His personal best throw of 90.44 meters, achieved in 1997, solidified his position as one of the top javelin throwers in the world. Participating in two Summer Olympics, he finished fifth in 1996 and seventh in 2000. Obergföll represented SV Saar 05 Saarbrücken and was under the guidance of coach Klaus Bartonietz until his retirement after the 2004 Olympics.
