Grant Fuhr is a retired Canadian ice hockey goaltender who played for the Edmonton Oilers in the 1980s and won the Stanley Cup five times. He also served as a goaltending coach for the Arizona Coyotes. Fuhr is a six-time NHL All-Star and was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in 2003. In 2017, he was recognized as one of the 100 Greatest NHL Players in history. Fuhr achieved several milestones for black ice hockey players in the NHL, including being the first to win the Stanley Cup and being the first black player inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame.
