Bob Godfrey, an English animator with a career spanning over fifty years, is well-known for creating popular children’s cartoon series such as Roobarb, Noah and Nelly in SkylArk, and Henry’s Cat. Additionally, he gained recognition for his work on the Trio chocolate biscuit advertisements in the early 1980s. Notably, Godfrey won a BAFTA and an Academy Award for his short film “Great,” a humorous biography of Isambard Kingdom Brunel. He also received Academy Award nominations for other works including “Kama Sutra Rides Again,” “Dream Doll,” and “Small Talk.”
