Conrad Hilton was an American businessman known for founding the Hilton Hotels chain. He started his career in politics as a Republican representative in the New Mexico Legislature before transitioning to the hospitality industry. He went on to establish the world’s first international hotel chain. Hilton’s legacy is upheld through the Conrad N. Hilton Foundation, which received the majority of his estate.
