Thurston Joseph Moore is a prominent American musician celebrated for his involvement in the legendary rock group Sonic Youth. In addition to his contributions to Sonic Youth, Moore has pursued various solo and collaborative ventures and established the Ecstatic Peace! record label. Renowned as the 34th greatest guitarist ever by Rolling Stone in 2004, Moore subsequently founded the band Chelsea Light Moving, which unveiled its first album in 2013 and disbanded in 2015. To this day, Moore remains active in the music scene through his solo endeavors and other creative projects.
