Alex Lifeson, a Canadian musician, is widely known as the guitarist for the iconic rock band Rush. Lifeson co-founded the band in 1968, which saw changes in its lineup over the years before coming to an end in 2018. Throughout his career with Rush, Lifeson showcased his exceptional skills on electric and acoustic guitars, as well as various string instruments. Additionally, he contributed backing vocals, played keyboards, and utilized sampled instruments during live performances. Lifeson, alongside his bandmates, has received prestigious honors such as being appointed Officers of the Order of Canada and being inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.
