Billy Casper was a highly successful American professional golfer who achieved remarkable tournament victories on the PGA Tour from the 1950s to the 1970s. Throughout his 20-year career, he won 51 Tour events, including three major championships. Casper also represented the United States in the Ryder Cup and held the U.S. record for career Ryder Cup points. Transitioning to the Senior PGA Tour, he continued to excel and also made significant contributions to golf course design and management. Inducted into the World Golf Hall of Fame in 1978, Casper was known for his strategic play, exceptional putting skills, and unwavering determination on the course.
