She made history by being the top-ranked female golfer globally for 158 consecutive and total weeks, setting records within the LPGA Tour. Ochoa was the first Mexican golfer to attain the number one ranking in the world and is recognized as the finest Mexican golfer and the best Latin American female golfer in history. In 2017, she was inducted into the World Golf Hall of Fame.
