Colin Montgomerie, OBE, is a Scottish professional golfer with a remarkable career on the European Tour. He holds a record eight Order of Merit titles, winning seven consecutively from 1993 to 1999. Montgomerie’s 31 European Tour victories are the most by a British player, and he has been a runner-up in major championships five times. He was inducted into the World Golf Hall of Fame in 2013 and continues to excel on the PGA Tour Champions and European Senior Tour, where he has won three senior major championships.
