Ahn Cheol-soo is a well-known South Korean politician, medical doctor, businessperson, and software entrepreneur. He established AhnLab, Inc., an antivirus software company, in 1995, before transitioning into politics. Ahn has undertaken various roles, including serving as dean of the Graduate School of Convergence Science and Technology at Seoul National University. He has been involved with several political parties, from co-founding the New Politics Alliance for Democracy to leading the People Party. Presently, Ahn is a member of the conservative People Power Party.
