Franco Harris was a renowned American professional football player who achieved great success during his 13-season NFL career, notably with the Pittsburgh Steelers. He began his football journey playing for the Penn State Nittany Lions before being drafted by the Steelers in 1972. Harris garnered nine Pro Bowl selections while playing for Pittsburgh and played a significant role in the team’s four Super Bowl wins. He was named the MVP of Super Bowl IX and is best remembered for his iconic “Immaculate Reception” touchdown.
