Yulia Lipnitskaya, a retired Russian figure skater, is well-known for her impressive achievements in competitive figure skating. Throughout her career, she secured various titles such as the World silver medal, European championship, and Grand Prix Final silver medal. Not only did she excel as a senior skater, but she also found success as a junior skater by winning the World Junior Championships and Russian Junior Championships. Lipnitskaya made history by becoming the youngest Russian athlete to secure a gold medal at the Winter Olympics and the youngest gold medalist in the women’s singles category at the European Championships. Unfortunately, she retired in 2017 due to injuries and anorexia nervosa.
