Kristi Yamaguchi is a highly accomplished former competitive figure skater, author, and philanthropist. She is renowned for her success in women’s singles figure skating, having won the Olympic gold medal in 1992, as well as being a two-time World champion and U.S. champion. Yamaguchi also excelled in pairs skating with Rudy Galindo, winning the World Junior championship and two national championships. After retiring from competition, she continued to excel in professional figure skating, winning multiple championships. Additionally, she is a successful author with several published books, including a New York Times Best Seller.
