Nancy Kerrigan is a renowned American former figure skater celebrated for her accomplishments in the sport. She attained bronze and silver medals at different World Championships and Winter Olympics. In 2004, Kerrigan was honored with induction into the United States Figure Skating Hall of Fame. Notably, she encountered a well-known incident in 1994 when she was assaulted by an assailant hired by a rival’s ex-husband. Despite this challenge, Kerrigan made a remarkable recovery and continued to excel in her skating career. She went on to perform with various ice skating troupes and even graced the stage of Dancing with the Stars in 2017.
