Andromeda(Daughter of Aethiopia)

Birthplace: Greece
Andromeda, in Greek mythology, is known as the daughter of King Cepheus and Queen Cassiopeia of Aethiopia. She gained prominence for being chained to a rock as a human sacrifice to appease Poseidon after her mother boasted of her beauty. Rescued by the hero Perseus, Andromeda was brought back to Greece where she married him and reigned as his queen. Her story has been a popular subject in art and literature, often depicted alongside themes of heroism, sacrifice, and redemption.
