Darude, also known as Toni-Ville Henrik Virtanen, is a Finnish DJ and record producer celebrated for his progressive and uplifting musical style. He achieved global fame with the platinum-selling track “Sandstorm” in 1999. His debut album “Before the Storm” garnered three Finnish Grammy Awards and reached the top of charts in Finland and the US. Darude went on to release successful albums such as “Rush” and “Label This!” while also establishing the record label EnMass Music. He has graced major festivals with his performances and represented Finland in the Eurovision Song Contest 2019.
