Pedro Delgado Robledo, known as Perico, is a Spanish retired professional road cyclist with a successful career. He emerged victorious in the 1988 Tour de France and the 1985 and 1989 Vuelta a España. Delgado achieved top 10 placements in eighteen Grand Tours. Although he tested positive for a masking agent during the 1988 Tour, he was allowed to continue competing as the substance was not yet prohibited by the sport’s governing body. Presently, Delgado works as a sports commentator for Televisión Española, covering major cycling events.
