Shaun Pollock is a retired South African cricketer who served as captain of the South African cricket team from 2000 to 2003. Known for his skills as a bowling all-rounder, he formed a strong bowling partnership with Allan Donald. Pollock played for various teams including Africa XI, World XI, Dolphins, and Warwickshire. He was honored as the Wisden Cricketer of the Year in 2003 and was part of the South African team that won the 1998 ICC KnockOut Trophy. Pollock retired from international cricket in 2008 and now works as a cricket commentator for SuperSport. He was inducted into the ICC Cricket Hall of Fame in November 2021.
