Matthew Hayden is a well-known Australian cricket commentator and former cricketer, famous for his strong and aggressive left-handed batting. He played a crucial role in Australia’s successful era in Test and ODI cricket from 2000 to 2008. Hayden holds the record for the highest individual score by an Australian batsman in Tests and was part of the teams that won the 2003 and 2007 Cricket World Cups. After retiring in 2012, he continued his involvement in cricket as a coach and was inducted into the Australian Cricket Hall of Fame in 2017. He also served as the Batting Coach of Pakistan for the 2021 ICC Men’s T20 World Cup.
